About Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion
Deep ruby, Château Fongaban Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion opens with ripe blackberry, black cherry, and blackcurrant aromas, accented by cedar, toasted oak, vanilla, and baking spice. The palate is velvety and balanced, with dark fruit layers, silky tannins, and fresh acidity. Cocoa, licorice, and earthy minerality add depth, leading to a long, smooth finish with lingering berry, spice, and refined oak notes. Château Fongaban has been in the Taïx family since 1932, with each generation building on the estate's proud winemaking tradition. Since taking the reins in 2009, Pierre Taïx has embraced certified organic farming while honoring the classic Bordeaux style that has defined the château for decades.
